Staffing levels continue to grow at Eclipse Translations as we welcome Jonathan Boniface as project manager.

Jonathan will help ensure the smooth running of translation projects requested by our 200-strong client base including liaison with a vast resource of external translation specialists based across the globe.

Jonathan is one of seven project managers at Eclipse and we now have over 30 staff at our Northumberland offices. It is from here that we offer dedicated support in over 50 languages, with our services being translation, interpreting, localisation, subtitling and voiceovers. Sectors we operate in include chemicals, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, legal, financial services, defence, manufacturing, government and energy.

Jonathan, who lives in Northumberland, was in teaching prior to joining Eclipse, with main subjects being English, maths and history.

Jonathan said: “The multi-management skills I learned in teaching are an invaluable asset and are very helpful in my new role. That said, the challenges of working in a hectic school environment are totally different to here at Eclipse where everything is more controlled and planned, albeit we always have to be ready for clients to request additional work or set sudden deadlines.”

When he is not at work Jonathan enjoys writing, running, travel and going to the gym.
