We work with and support a number of charities and community groups both locally and further afield. As a company, we support cancer charities, the air ambulance, local hospices and the RNLI. Many of our staff are keen runners and swimmers who regularly run 10Ks, half marathons and marathons for various charities and take part in swimathons for charity. Other staff initiatives include a "chocolate for charity" scheme with proceeds going to nominated charities voted on by staff and fancy dress and cake sale fundraisers. We also support local football and athletics teams with sponsorship and staff members volunteer their services coaching at junior level. We are a member of the North East Ambassador Programme and promote language learning in local schools through classroom sessions and delivery of workshops to NE Universities.
